Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
Having lost his mother at an early age and being single handedly raised by his father with the aid of the Cavallone’s members, Dino had not experienced much maternal affection growing up. Dino loves his unknown mother, and possesses a repressed longing for affection from mother figures, with the famiglia’s househelpers usually filling in this said desire. Currently, he also has a secretary, Milana*, who he considers a sister figure. And with those said, Dino’s interactions with most women are very gentleman-like and courteous.
His father doted on him a fair amount in between his job as the famiglia’s boss then, and they got along fairly well, with Dino always seeking his father’s approval. That, and his father’s subordinates treated the Cavallone heir like a prince. Suffice is to say, Dino was spoiled for most of the time, his every whim easily granted so long as it was under the famiglia’s power, and in the progress, it was hard not to act as such.
Though, Dino’s relationship with his father soon changed after a rather unfortunate event with the famiglia; from a decent relationship, it became a strained one, what with the Cavallone heir’s sudden hesitancy to claim his rightful title and his father’s descent to ruin. Not long before Cavallone Nono’s death, they came into terms with each other, and Dino finally having accepted his responsibilities as Cavallone Decimo, took on a more mature role at an early age.
